1. Introduction

The thermostatic control panel in Energy’s variable-speed BLDC polymer cellulose coolers, in addition to controlling ambient temperature and motor speed, includes numerous advanced features and capabilities. The thermostat plays an important role in controlling ambient temperature and optimizing energy consumption in evaporative coolers. By measuring air temperature, it adjusts the cooler’s operation to maintain the desired conditions.

2. Main Features of the Thermostat

– 2-1 Automatic Temperature Control

Automatically turns the cooler on and off based on ambient temperature.

– 2-2 Energy Consumption Reduction

Prevents unnecessary operation of the cooler and reduces electricity and water costs for the user.

– 2-3 Increased Cooler Lifespan

By preventing frequent on/off cycles, pressure on the motor is reduced, increasing the cooler’s lifespan.

2-4 Fan Speed Control

Allows adjustment of fan speed to achieve optimal cooling performance.

3. Standard Polymer Cellulose Cooler Panel

Energy’s polymer cellulose coolers are offered in two versions: standard and plus. One of the main differences between these models is the type of control panel used, each with different capabilities.

The control panel used in standard models features a color LCD display and touch control buttons. It should be noted that these panels are also equipped with a radio remote control.

In the polymer cooler plus models, a fully color, full-touch TFT display control panel is used. These panels are also equipped with a radio remote control.

4. Other Features of the Standard Panel

– Manual and automatic operation modes

– Fault detection and performance monitoring

– Intelligent adjustment of cool airflow based on desired temperature in thermostat mode

– Up to 30% water consumption reduction using thermostat and drive

– Automatic and periodic tank water drainage command to prevent stagnant water, increased hardness, and unpleasant odor

– Warning display and automatic shutdown of the water pump when water level is low

– Double-pole disconnection of phase and neutral for protection against wiring errors during installation and servicing

– Automatic shutdown (RCCB) in case of current leakage exceeding 30 mA (danger threshold for humans) in building wiring

– OFF timer for setting automatic shutdown time

5. What is RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker)?

RCCB is a protective device designed to safeguard people and equipment against current leakage. If leakage current exceeds a specified threshold (typically 30 mA for human protection or 100 mA for equipment protection), the RCCB automatically disconnects the circuit to prevent electric shock or fire hazards.

6. What is a Double Pole Disconnection System?

A double pole disconnection system is a type of protective switch that simultaneously cuts both phase and neutral lines. It is typically used in single-phase circuits and plays a significant role in improving safety.

7. OFF Timer

The OFF timer in evaporative coolers manages the operating time of the device. It allows users to set automatic shutdown timing, helping reduce energy consumption and extend the device lifespan.

As mentioned earlier, one of the main differences in polymer cooler plus models is the use of a thermostatic panel with a full-color, full-touch TFT display.

8. TFT Display

A TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display is an advanced type of LCD that uses thin-film transistors to control each pixel individually. This technology improves image quality, increases resolution, and reduces display response time.

9. Features of the TFT Display

High resolution

Due to precise pixel control, images are clearer and more detailed.

Faster response time

TFT displays operate faster than standard LCDs, making them more suitable for dynamic content.

Wider viewing angles

They provide better viewing angles compared to older display types.

Higher energy consumption

Due to active transistors, they consume slightly more energy than standard displays.

10. Other Features of the Control Panel in Polymer Cooler Plus Series

– Ability to display different colors for manual and automatic operation modes

– Ability to operate in three modes (Silent, Normal, Turbo)

In silent mode, the cooler operates at up to 80% of capacity and motor speed. In turbo mode, it can operate at up to 120% capacity for rapid cooling.

– Easy-use mode

Ability to switch the interface to a classic cooler control style for easier use.
